Font Software License Agreement

This End User License Agreement (the “Agreement”) is between Maison du Zénith (the “Foundry”) and the person or organization that purchases or installs the font software (the “Licensee”). By downloading, installing, or using the font software (the “Font”), the Licensee agrees to these terms.

1. Grant of License

The Foundry grants the Licensee a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Font on up to [NUMBER] computers controlled by the Licensee. Each purchase covers a single license unless additional seats are purchased.

2. Permitted Uses

Setting text and creating artwork for print, signage, and screen.
Creating logos, packaging, and designs, including work produced for clients.
Selling physical or digital products that incorporate designs made with the Font.
Embedding the Font in static images (e.g., PNG, JPG, flattened PDF) where it cannot be extracted.

3. Restrictions

The Licensee may not sell, sublicense, redistribute, or share the Font files themselves.
The Font may not be converted to a webfont, embedded in apps or e-books, or installed on a server without a separate license. [Remove this line if your Etsy listing includes those rights.]
The Licensee may not claim authorship of the Font or register it (or a derivative) as their own.
Modifying the Font is permitted only for the Licensee's own use and only when the modified file is not redistributed. [Edit to match your modification policy.]

4. Ownership

The Font is licensed, not sold. All intellectual property rights in the Font, including copyright and any trademarks, remain the exclusive property of the Foundry.

5. Warranty & Liability

The Font is provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Foundry is not liable for any damages arising from the use of the Font.

6. Term & Termination

This Agreement is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically if the Licensee breaches any term, in which case the Licensee must delete all copies of the Font.

7. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of [STATE / COUNTRY], without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
